Go Tyler, GOOOO!!

Ok so I didn't know I had it in me to get so worked up. Even funnier I had no idea that I like Wrestling.
No not that horrible WWF on tv but real wrestling is so fun to watch.

I only hope I didn't embarrass my husband or kids, I was so excited I surprised any of the pictures came out!

Slightly disturbing, and yet.......

My son has joined the wrestling team this year. Here is a photo of him in his uniform. He is very excited about it all. I cant wait until he has a match so I can get photos of the actual wrestling. He is so cute in his little uniform, although I don't know who he will wrestle because he is so much taller then the rest of the boys in 6th grade. Beyond that it is sunny today, looks like the only sunny day we will have this week so I am off to head outdoors, TTFN.

The beginning and an end

My love for strange old barns started here. Yep this is the one. Of coarse when I first fell in love with it was about 20 years ago. Back then it had about half the signs on it. I guess over the years the owner kept on adding to it. I drove by this morning to see if it was still around. And not only is it still around it is better then ever. I think I may have to come back on a better day though it was really raining hard so this was the only shot I got before I darted back to my car trying to protect my camera under my jacket, hehe ok I just pictured that in my head. Hopefully no one saw my sad, mad dash out of the rain. The reason I had to go out here was the other day we had a great foggy morning and I went to my favorite barn to take photo's of it in the fog only to discover it is gone, I was heart sick. I felt as though I lost an old friend. I used to drive past this barn daily on my way to work. There was nothing left of it but a big empty field where it used to stand. Now don't get me wrong it was in horrible condition and probably a safety hazard but it has been that way for years. Here are the last photos of it. I took these back in May. So sometime in the last 5 months it was torn down and removed. I ask for a moment of silence as you appreciate these photos. I don't know if I'll ever find a barn in such a wonderfully dilapidated state again no matter how long I look this was a one of a kind................

Happy Halloween

I wanted to wish you all a happy and safe Halloween!! Here is our little group just waiting for the sun to set. It was a fantastic day and Autumn's Birthday she is now 7. We trick or treated for 2 1/2 hours and have more candy then I know what to do with. I shudder to think of the future dental visits. I know have a house full of little girls settling down watching Ice age 3 and sucking down candy while camped out all over my living room. Ahhh I think it will be a sugar high night filled with giggling and very little sleep in my future. Why is it I always agree to these sleep overs. I have had several but I never seem to remember what I am getting into until they start setting out the sleeping bags, then "WHAM!" all of a sudden I remember the last one and how little sleep I get. Oh yeah I have to point out the oldest girl in the group, she is the love of my sons life, he has adored her since he was a baby. She is also my closest friends daughter. Although he will probably be mad if he finds out I tell this to anyone who wants to read it but this edited version of the picture will probably make his whole year, she is only 1 year older then him and he has dreams of some day making her his. I do have to say they make a pretty cute couple. Hey a Mom can dream, right? Hey she was the reason I had him, she was such a cute baby I had to have one of my own. And if someday they got married well I cant say I'd complain. She is a great kid and I know I like her family.

Orchids

Well because today is raining and wet and cold, I have decided to not venture out beyond my doors. So instead I thought I'd share some of my favorite things.......Orchids!
I have 20+ plants I'm not really sure how many, or how I got to the number in question. I know it started with two plants my husband got me for our Anniversary one year and just snow balled from there. I actually have all varieties. Phalenopsis, Oncidium, Paphilodiums ect... But at the Moment I have phals in bloom so that is what I am sharing today.

I think Orchids are amazing and truly easy to grow once you learn how to do it, but the best thing is when they bloom they can stay in bloom for 3-6 months!! Talk about serious flowers. I love them. Well if your day is as rainy and windy and cold as mine I hope these flowers can brighten you day. I'm outta here baby I am going to curl up by a nice fire in the wood stove and work on my Dads Christmas present. I am Crocheting a blanket for him and gotta get rolling if I am to finish it in time.
